So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. Romans 10:17, ESV

Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives… Colossians 3:3a, NLT
Last month Apple announced their all-new Apple TV, bringing the power of apps to your television experience. And just as the Bible App was one of the first to iPhone, and one of the first to Apple Watch, now the Bible App is one of the first to the new Apple TV:
Available now in the Bible App for Kids, “No Silver, No Gold” is the story of Peter and John healing a man who had never been able to walk. Based on Acts 3, “No Silver, No Gold” shows Peter and John beginning to do the things Jesus had taught them, spreading His good news all over Jerusalem.
One day as Peter and John are walking to the temple, they meet a man sitting by one of the temple gates. Because this man had never been able to walk, he couldn’t work at a regular job. So every day, his friends carry him to the temple and set him down by a gate, where he can ask people for money as they go by. As Peter and John come near, the man asks them for money.
Peter and John stop in front of the man, but they don’t have any money to give him. Peter tells him, “I don’t have silver, and I don’t have gold. What I do have can’t be bought or sold. In the name of Jesus, get up, walk, and be made whole!” Then Peter takes the man’s hand, and he stands up for the first time ever, his feet and ankles instantly growing strong. It’s a miracle!
The man starts running around, jumping up and down, thanking God for healing him. Everyone there is amazed. They’ve seen the man sitting outside the temple day after day, asking people for money because he couldn’t walk. Peter tells the people that it was Jesus who healed the man, so many of them decide they want to follow Jesus, too!
If you already have the Bible App for Kids, all you need to do to get “No Silver, No Gold” is open the app and tap the new story icon. But even if you don’t have the app yet, getting it is easy — and it’s free! Just click one of the buttons below.

During the last six months alone, our Bible partners have given us 102 new versions and 86 new languages to add to the Bible App. (The complete list appears at the end of this post.) Thanks to their generosity, we’re now able to offer 1,200 versions in 868 languages. Join us. Help us get Bibles to people like this boy in Nepal…
Maithili is just one language in the batch of 86 we just added. One of the most common languages in India, Maithili is the second most widely used language in Nepal. Maithili is the primary language of 12 million people and a second language to 33 million more. Let that sink in for a moment. For millions of people, the Maithili Bible (provided by Wycliffe) marks the first opportunity they’ve ever had to experience God’s Word in the language of their heart. What will God’s Spirit say to them? To him?
Amharic is another of the 86. In Ethiopia, where this woman lives, 22 million people speak Amharic. Outside Ethiopia, Amharic has another 2.7 million speakers. And for 15 million people, Amharic is their only language. (After Arabic, Amharic is the second-most spoken Semitic language in the world.) The Amharic Bible (or New Amharic Standard Version, provided by Biblica) presents God’s Word to Amharic speakers in an everyday style that’s easy for ordinary people to read and understand. Even in remote areas where people don’t have running water or reliable transportation, many have cell phones, tablets, and other mobile devices — which means they now have the opportunity to experience the Bible in their heart language.
The Word of God is living and active. His Spirit is on the move all over the world, transforming hearts with life-changing power. Imagine a world where every person can instantly engage with God’s Word in their own language. In the history of our planet, nothing like that has ever even been possible before. But right now, today, for the first time ever, not only is it possible… this dream is within our reach.
What would happen? We want to find out. Don’t you?
Engage with God’s Word every day. Let it speak to you, change you.
