The YouVersion team is looking for a diversely talented Jesus follower who can serve the YouVersion Community as a Content Strategist. You are:
- Someone who could teach a class in the finer points of Bible App usage
- A versatile writer and editor with a strong grasp of mechanics and grammar
- Self-motivated, flexible, and cool under pressure
- Known for extraordinary consistency and attention to detail
- A digital native who enjoys learning to use new technology, tools, and platforms
You will:
- Create written content for diverse formats: mobile app UI, web, blog posts, social media, advertising, newsletters, transactional communication, user support articles, and more
- Collaborate with stakeholders, designers, and engineers on numerous projects every week
- Develop and implement strategy for the complete life cycle of YouVersion content
- Share responsibility for scheduling and delivering community emails, in-app notifications, push notifications, social media posts, and blog posts
- Monitor and analyze the success of communication, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization
Bonus points if you:
- Can demonstrate past success in managing communication projects
- Have experience working in HTML
- Possess an eye for design and have created graphics in a professional setting
- Are a staunch defender of the Oxford comma
- Prefer pie over cake
