YouVersion is growing at a record-setting pace and our team needs the choicest talent to keep up with users’ needs, helping people engage with Scripture through the web. We’re looking for a skilled user interface and user experience designer to help people engage with Scripture through the web and native mobile apps. Qualified candidates will have solid experience with UI and UX design, a passion for critical analysis and problem-solving, and the ability to create world-class interfaces that are equally beautiful and simple to use.
You are:
- Passionate about helping people around the world engage with Scripture
- Always thinking, “How can we make this simpler, better, or more beautiful?”
- Experienced with wireframing web apps, UX design, and user-flow analysis
- The type of person that thrives in a team environment
- Calm under pressure
You know well:
- General design principles such as typography, layout, hierarchy, color, and gestalt
- Photoshop or Fireworks
- HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- UX/UI principles for full-size and small screen web apps
