New: Challenges on Bible App for Kids

Bible App for Kids Challenges

Challenge… Accepted!

Want to teach your kids about the Biblical big picture… in a fun way? Meet the newest Bible App for Kids feature: Challenges!

When your kids open the app, now they can enter a Challenge, and if they complete a set of stories in the proper sequence, they’ll earn a badge! Every time they get a new badge, they unlock another Challenge.

Every Challenge helps your kids see how different Bible stories connect into the bigger story God’s Word is telling. And collecting badges encourages your kids to continue exploring the Bible for themselves.

And now, your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to start completing Challenges with your kids.

You unlocked a new Profile Badge and color for completing all of the Challenges. Congratulations!

Great Ideas for Families

Parent reading with child

Whatever you do, honor others more than yourself.
Care about the lives of others.
Think like Jesus: He gave up everything, accepting
the role of a servant. He humbled himself.

Philippians 2:3-8

How can my family become the best it can be?

For years, we’ve been collecting biblical principles for families. Over the next few months, we’ll share them as short, simple suggestions you can put into practice immediately. This first one applies to everyone in your family—even the grown-ups…

“In our family, we treat each other better than our best friend.”

Keep reminding each other of this commitment, again and again, in whatever you’re doing—playing together, choosing entertainment, sharing toys or clothes or crayons, eating a meal—everything. Just be consistent, keep it simple, and enjoy the transformation.

Like this idea? It came from this Plan:

Family Reading Plans and Devotionals

What does God want for your family?

Family

What’s God’s vision for your family?

Work, chores at home, social commitments… with so many demands on our time, sometimes it’s overwhelming thinking about how to lead our families spiritually. Here are some small ways you can start pursuing God together, in the natural rhythms of your family’s everyday life.

Start with you.

Single parenting, blended families, special needs children, praying for your kids: wherever you are, find wisdom and encouragement in this Plan collection on the Bible App.

Little kids? Experience the big stories of the Bible, together.

Snuggle with your child and ask them to show you a Bible App for Kids story. (Ask them to show you how the app works, too.) Listen to what’s on your child’s mind.

Teenager

Older kids? Get on their level.

Start a Bible Plan on a topic you’d like to talk about with your kids. Pick “With Friends,” and invite them to join you in the Bible App. Discuss each day right in the app, group text style, or even irl (in real life).

Family

Something for everyone.

Find a Plan in the Bible App your whole family can do together. Set a regular time each day when one person can read from the devotional (like dinnertime), then talk about it together.

Bible Lens

See God in your life, together.

Take a picture with Bible Lens, or point it at a family photo you already have. Watch together as it finds verses that match your picture.

Whatever you choose, just remember…

You’re already leading your family spiritually. Each day, your children are learning what you value from the ways you spend your time. We can be intentional about the direction we lead our families… and engage them in the process.
