No matter what happens, tell God about everything. Ask and pray, and give thanks to him.
Just a few weeks ago, we told you about the Bible App’s newest feature, YouVersion Prayer. As we were developing this feature over the last several months, we had no idea how much we would all need it right now. In this difficult season, YouVersion Prayer is already helping people all over the world keep track of more than a million prayers (and counting).
If you’ve been using YouVersion Prayer as much as we have, then you already know how encouraging it is to see that your friends are praying for you, and seeing them post updates to their Prayers.
Today we’re announcing a new addition to YouVersion Prayer that lets us connect with each other even more: Comments.
Brothers and sisters, let’s pray for one another. And in addition, let’s also offer each other encouragement, help, and support.
Prayer Comments start rolling out gradually this week. Keep your Bible App updated to see it when it arrives.
Dear God,
It’s Your name that is honored from generation to generation. You alone are worthy of all glory and praise.
And You are not shocked by the state of the world right now. Your ways are not our ways, and You are not at a loss about what to do. Nothing is impossible for You.
So today, we are proclaiming that You will be glorified through this pandemic. That Your name will be known and praised throughout the earth.
Pierce the darkness with Your light. Shine brighter than the fear of death, economic ruin, or a long quarantine.
When we look back on this moment in history, would we be filled with joy as we remember the revival, hope, and peace that came out of this season.
Continue to draw this hurting world back to You.

Dear God,
Thank You that we get to be a part of Your global Church at this moment. Thank You for the opportunity to spread Your love and hope to a world living in darkness and despair.
Your Word says that if Your people humble themselves, turn away from wickedness, and call on Your name, that You will answer them and heal their land.
So we, Your people, are asking Your forgiveness for the times we’ve chosen not to love the people You put in front of us.
Allow this season to strengthen Your Church and to remind us of how much You love this hurting world.
Please heal our land and use us to meet the needs of others. Grow our faith as You grow Your global Church.
Come, Lord Jesus, and do what only You can do.

Dear God,
All authority is Yours, but You have given authority to leaders to protect and guide us. Today, we ask that You would give all our leaders wisdom, discernment, strength, and resolve. Keep them healthy, safe, and rested so that they can continue to guide us through this troubling time.
Give our government leaders wisdom about what needs to be done to stop the virus and stabilize our economy.
Give our spiritual leaders Your discernment on how to meet people’s needs as they continue to glorify Your name and encourage the Church.
Give our medical leaders insight into how to stop the virus. Strengthen their resolve and honor their hard work in creating a treatment for COVID-19.
Give our civic leaders inspiration, courage, joy, and strength to meet the needs of their communities.
And help us, as leaders in our communities, to display courage, hope, generosity, and kindness. Would the way we honor others inspire those around us.
