The “Good” in Good Friday

Even as He took His last breath, Jesus prayed.

Then Jesus, calling out with a loud voice, said, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!” And having said this he breathed his last.

LUKE 23:46

With His death, Jesus gave each of us new life in Him. That’s what makes Good Friday “good.”
