Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me.
Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind…
Think about a time when you’ve felt your mind being renewed, seen some area of your life transformed. If you regularly allow Scripture to wash over you, reading or listening to it, no doubt you’ve experienced its power to inspire, encourage, and even convict you.
Thanks to the generosity of our Bible publishing and Bible society partners, the YouVersion app now offers nearly 2,500 Bible texts and 1,000 audio Bibles!
But, how different would our lives look if all the Bible versions that bring God’s Word to life for us … simply stopped existing? Almost a billion people still don’t have even one complete Bible version in their language.
Those same Bible partners are also working to empower people all over the world to translate Scripture into their own languages. And almost as soon as a new version is completed, it’s uploaded to a digital library, allowing us to share it with the entire YouVersion Community.
With just a smartphone and a wireless signal, people who never had the Bible in their language before could access it instantly, from anywhere on earth. When you give to Bible for Everyone, you’re helping make this a reality.
95% of the global population
will have access to a full Bible
99.96% of the global population
will have access to a New Testament
100% of the global population will have
access to at least some portion of Scripture
God gave us His Son, and His Word. When we follow His example of giving generously, we draw closer to Him. And when more of us take part in this vision, the sooner we can get God’s Word to everyone.
All contributions received through the Bible for Everyone campaign will be used exclusively for the purpose of Bible translation, and spread across different, high-impact translation projects. As each project is completed, any remaining funds are then applied toward the next translation project, as selected by YouVersion and its partners.
Nothing in your life is too big or small for God to handle. But sometimes, we need to be reminded that we can talk with Him at any time. Prayer Reminders are perfect for when you need extra encouragement to do just that.
Simply go into your Push Notifications Settings, and tap, “Remind me to pray.” From here, you can set up a time each day to receive a reminder.
Not sure what to pray about? Start here:
God, thank You for caring for us. You know the things that have been weighing us down with worry, anxiety, or fear. Right now, please guard our hearts and minds with Your peace.
Help us fix our minds on You, and on Your Spirit. Thank You for promising to bring us life and peace. We can rest … because You make us safe.
God, Your Word says You answer people when they call on Your name, and You deliver them. Right now, we ask that You would heal those who are sick and hurting. And whether Your healing comes today or 10 years from now, we will continue to praise You, even as we wait for answers.
Jesus, thank You for overcoming the world. Because of that, we can experience unity with You. Help us to see all the ways You are at work around us. Draw us closer to You, and help us to look out for the interests of others.
We want Your kingdom to come on earth as it is in heaven, so unite us in purpose, so that nothing will keep people searching for You from believing in You.
28
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
29
For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30
Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.
31
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
32
He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
33
Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.
34
Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.
35
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36
As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”
37
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
38
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come
39
nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Take a moment to reflect on the past few months. What have you learned? What have you overcome? How have you grown closer to Christ?
Right now, no matter what these past few months have looked like, we have an opportunity to allow God to renew our minds and souls.
And one of the best ways to partner with God as He moves in our lives is to take on new challenges. So this month, let’s intentionally pursue Christ together by taking part in the Mid-Year Challenge.
Get the 2021 Mid-Year Challenge Badge by completing at least one Plan day for 7 days in a row during the month of July.
