YouVersion’s 21-Day Challenge for 2016: You could win an Amazon Fire Tablet!

If you’re like most people who download the Bible App, you installed it because you believe that reading the Bible is important, and you intend to read it more. One of the best ways we’ve found to start a daily discipline is to complete one short Bible Plan after another in the Bible App. That’s what our annual 21-Day Challenge is all about: helping you start building a daily habit of connecting with God’s Word.

To help inspire you, anytime between February 1 and February 21, share which Plan you’re reading during the 21-Day Challenge — on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook using the hashtag #BibleFor21 — and you’ll be entered to win prizes such as a YouVersion T-shirt, stickers, a notebook, or drinkware… or even a 7-inch Amazon Fire tablet! *

Just make sure your posts are public (we can’t see any private posts, so will only be able to select winners that share publicly).

50 New Bible Versions. 39 New Languages.

See where you fit in.

We live in an extraordinary age. All over the world, people are looking for meaning, seeking answers to life’s big questions. Inevitably, that means many will be discovering the Bible for the first time. The fact that half of the world’s population now has a mobile subscription (up from just one in five 10 years ago) — means that God has entrusted our generation with a historic opportunity:

To one day meet each person with a Bible, wherever they are.

If you joined this conversation by clicking through an email you received from us:
Thank you! And welcome.
(If you’re not receiving our emails, you can subscribe here.)

Of course, when people first encounter the Bible, they can only read it (or listen to it) if they can find it in a language they know. More than a billion people still don’t have the full story of God’s Word in their own language. And of these, 2,000 language communities don’t even have Bible translations started. Thankfully, YouVersion’s visionary Bible society partners are actively working on new translations…and then sharing those Bibles — for free — through the Bible App and at Bible.com:

And if they fall in love with God’s Word now, what will their generation look like when they’re grown? A revolution in Bible engagement is taking place in our lifetimes.

How many is 10 million? If each one of those installs
represented just one child, together they could: Continue reading “With 10 million Bible App for Kids installs, the future looks bright”
