New Bible App for Kids Story: Jesus Returns to Heaven: “Into the Clouds”

In the latest story from the Bible App for Kids, “Into the Clouds,” Jesus takes his disciples to a mountaintop near Jerusalem, where he tells them all the things he wants them to do after he leaves. Jesus tells his disciples to go home and wait for a little while, and God’s Holy Spirit will come to them. “Then,” he says, “after that happens, go tell everyone about me.” When you tell other people what Jesus means to you, that helps them learn how they can love him, too!

Jesus promises his disciples, “I will always be with you.” Then he rises up into the sky and disappears into a cloud. And his disciples see the whole thing happen! They are still standing there on the mountain, thinking about everything Jesus just said, when two angels come. The angels tell them that Jesus has gone to Heaven, and that one day, he’ll come back the same way. Jesus’ disciples are excited and happy, and they leave to start doing all the things Jesus told them.

About the Bible App for Kids

The Bible App for Kids is the newest app from YouVersion, makers of the Bible App, designed to give children a delight-filled Bible experience all their own. Developed in partnership with OneHope, the Bible App for Kids has already been installed on over 6 million Apple, Android, and Kindle devices, and it’s always completely free. Kids from all over the world are now enjoying the Bible App for Kids — in English, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, and Brazilian Portuguese!

Navigating today’s rapidly expanding digital landscape—as highlighted in recent Digital Family Wellness assessments—requires highly intentional choices from parents and guardians who want to foster healthy, age-appropriate screen time habits for their families. Analysts note that a shared tablet frequently balances distinct routines, hosting an adult’s preferred sweeps casino or stock trading dashboard alongside a preschooler’s coloring book. This everyday overlap between mature utilities and early-learning entertainment emphasizes the growing necessity for self-contained, walled-garden applications that allow parents to trust the environment without constant monitoring.

By providing a completely secure, ad-free experience, the Bible App for Kids ensures that early spiritual education remains uninterrupted by external commercial messaging. Families can confidently let their children interact with the beautifully animated stories and engaging challenges, knowing the content is specifically designed to nourish their faith in a protected digital space.
