Our desire is that these celebrations serve as visual reminders that God is present in the everyday rhythms of life, because God’s Word is timeless and relevant.

Lost, Found, Beloved | Sydney’s Story
As an infant, my parents abandoned me in Nepal without a name or an identity. I was brought to an orphanage, and they called me “Priya Balika”, which means “Beloved Orphan.”
I was adopted at two years old. Growing up, I wondered why my parents left me. In high school, I was invited to a church camp where I gave my life to Jesus. When I found the Bible App, I was really drawn to Plans because they helped me understand the Bible more. I especially love Plans With Friends!
I always focused on the “Orphan” part of my name, but when I started spending time with God in the Bible App, I realized that God calls me “Priya” — “Beloved.”
Light in the Darkness | Joshua’s Story
I was born blind in Mexico. My world is dark, and I can’t read a Bible like other kids can. When I went to a VBS near my home, one of the workers showed me Bible App for Kids.
Being able to listen to Bible stories has opened up my world! I love getting to learn more about God. My dad came to VBS with me, and he gave his life to Jesus.
Now, my entire family is involved in our local church, and we love sharing the Bible App and Bible App for Kids with others.
Proclaim What the Lord Has Done | Rich’s Story
I called myself a believer, but felt distant from God. Until one day, when I found myself in the ER with shortness of breath. I had a tumor in my chest about the size of a hand, and it was choking me. The doctors told me this was a very aggressive, deadly form of cancer.
I drove home from the hospital in the middle of the night, feeling alone and scared. I didn’t know what to do other than to turn to God, so I opened His Word. One of the first verses I saw was from Psalm 118: “I shall not die but live and proclaim what the Lord has done.”
I clung to that verse. I became more engaged with Scripture through the Bible App and started a folder called “God Speaks,” which helped me through my cancer journey. Although I went through an intense time of treatment, God was faithful to His word and healed me completely.
Now, I begin every day in the Bible App. I go through the Verse of the Day, Guided Scripture, and Guided Prayer. I have gone through the entire Bible several times, and it helps me stay disciplined in my Bible habit.
