It’s the Bible App for Kids—in Spanish!

Today we’re excited to announce La Biblia App para Niños! Very soon, Spanish-speaking children will get to engage with the same fun animations, brilliant colors, and interactive Bible stories that made the original Bible App for Kids so popular. We’d love to have your help getting the word out! 

 

Created in partnership with One Hope, La Biblia App para Niños is the first of many new language versions we’ll be offering. We want the Bible App for Kids available to as many children as possible, no matter what language they speak. Spanish is one of the top five most popular Bible App languages. More people speak Spanish as their native language than English. La Biblia App para Niños has enormous potential to introduce millions of kids around the world to the Bible.

Brand-New Bible App for Kids Story: “God’s Good News”

“God’s Good News” is the latest story to arrive in the Bible App for Kids. But this story is special, unlike anything we’ve offered before. “God’s Good News” draws scenes from stories we’ve already launched, and adds a brand-new scene. The story of “God’s Good News” shows kids that when we put all of the pieces together, we can see the bigger picture of what God is telling us through the Bible:

that God loves us, and that through His Son Jesus,
we can know Him and become part of His story, too

Get the Verse of the Day, Every Day

People ask us all the time if the Bible App can send them the Verse of the Day, so they’ll never miss one. And now it can! If you’re new to the Bible App, the Verse of the Day is a select daily passage intended to encourage you, refresh your perspective, and help you focus your thoughts on God. Of course, you’ll want to read more of the Bible than just one verse a day, but the Verse of the Day is a quick, easy way you can remind yourself what’s important.

Available now on iOS (newest 5.1.1 release), this handy feature is also coming soon to the Bible App for Android and to bible.com. Maybe you like thinking about the Bible first thing when you wake up. Or meditating on it as a midday reminder. Or perhaps at bedtime, so you can think about it as you’re drifting to sleep. Whatever your preference, just tell the Bible App when and how you want your Verse of the Day delivered…and we’ll do the rest!

Sermon on the Mount added to the Bible App for Kids as “The King and the Kingdom”

Our latest addition brings the Sermon on the Mount to the Bible App for Kids as “The King and the Kingdom.” Based on Matthew 5-7, the story teaches kids about Jesus’ most famous sermon as He calls His followers to a new and different way of living.

Every story in the app introduces kids to biblical concepts in a way they can understand and remember. And of course we didn’t forget about the fun! The colorful animation features lots of great moments, like joining the crowd on the hillside to hear Jesus preach, or seeing the difference between the house built on rock and the one built on sand.
