Just before His final meal, Jesus made a big statement when He took a towel and basin … and washed His disciples’ feet.
The towel and basin were a lasting memory of His servanthood. Afterward, Jesus invited His disciples to remember His sacrifice with the bread and cup.
Jesus’ death was the ultimate act of service. And because of Jesus’ selflessness, we can know Him personally!
