iOS 14 Verse of the Day widgets

This feature is currently only for Apple devices with iOS 14 or above.

Think of a time when you opened your Bible App and the Verse of the Day immediately spoke to you. Now, you can get that daily encouragement directly on your home screen by activating Verse of the Day widgets for iOS 14.

Here are a couple things the new Verse of the Day widgets let you do:

  • Get instant access to inspiring Verse of the Day Images.
  • Pick the size of your widget and place it on your screen.

How to Add Widgets

If you have the Bible App on your iPhone or iPad, make sure you’ve updated to iOS 14 and have the latest version of the Bible App. (If you don’t have the Bible App yet, you can download the Bible App.)

Then, follow these 5 easy steps:

  1. Tap and hold an empty space on your home screen until the apps move.
  2. Press the Plus icon button on the top of the screen.
  3. Use the search bar to find Bible widgets.
  4. Select widgets, choose a size, and then click Add Widget.
  5. Arrange them on your home screen, and tap Done to activate.
