YouVersion…bringing the Bible to your iPhone

It was an awesome week for the YouVersion.com team! If you are unaware, just a few days ago Apple announced the 3G iPhone. There are so many reasons for us to be excited about this, but none more than this…the ability to write custom application for your iPhone!

So, without further ado, we are pleased to announce YouVersion.com is bringing the Bible to your iPhone! iPhone 3G is coming July 11th, so stay tuned right here on the blog to be the first to know when the YouVersion iPhone Bible will be available for download. YouVersion Mobile and Web Updates

On April 29, we released YouVersion Mobile. Since that release we have been blown away by the response and the feedback that you have provided! Wow! Thank you all for the encouragement and the great feedback. Our team really appreciates it.

Today, we wanted to let you know we have been busy working on a lot of enhancements with both YouVersion Mobile and YouVersion.com. Here are few of the changes we pushed last night:

YouVersion Mobile:

  • Added KJV and CEV translations
  • Changed and enhanced many pages
  • Improved speed and search results
  • Added ability to change translation on home page
  • Fixed many minor bugs

YouVersion.com:

  • Enhanced and improved speed of search results
  • Fixed many minor bugs

Monday could be a big day for YouVersion. All I am going to say is you might want to stay tuned if you are interested in something big.
